Description
Budemeadows is a family run and orientated touring site for caravans, motorhomes and camping. Situated in lanscaped surroundings amidst the North Cornwall countryside we are 3 miles South of Bude and a mile inland fron the sand and surf of Widemouth Bay. Our location close to the Atlantic Highway makes access to the key visitor attractions of both North Cornwall and North Devon easily accessable. For a longer day out the Eden Project is only an hour away.
In Mid and high season our shop stock a range of groceries, camping essentials, beers and wines. Grumpy Pete's Bar provides a friendly haven and serves freshly ground coffee or genuine Italian hot chocolate, a range of local beers and cider as well as wine and spirits. The bar is also a WiFi hotspot and has PC terminals for guests use (small charge applies).
Our outdoor pool is also open mid and high season, is heated to around 28 degrees and will keep the kids amused for hours. We also have a large childrens play area with swings, slides and an aerial runway.
Widemouth Bay is a wide open beach, with easy access and parking, offering sand in the mid section and rock pools to either side at low tide. The beach attracts surfers and bodyboarders year round and outside of the winter months is managed by lifeguards who keep things in order and seperate swimmers from surfers in the water.
